Spiral Volleyball

With 25 years of coaching experience, Molly West is one of the most well-known and well-respected volleyball coaches in Arizona. As the Head Coach for the Spiral Volleyball 16s Team, she will insure that her athletes have the skills, discipline, and motivation necessary to excel at the highest level of competition. Molly played volleyball for two years at the junior college level and then went on to set for the University of Alabama Birmingham. After graduation Molly was a Division I Assistant Coach at the University of Alabama Birmingham, Colorado State University, and Cal State Fullerton. When she returned to Arizona, Molly spent four years as Varsity Coach at McClintock High School.   Currently in her Fifteenth year as Varsity Coach at Desert Vista High School, she has twice been named Coach of the Year, led her teams to numerous Region Championships, qualified eight teams to the State Tournament, and finished 5A State Runner Up in 2004 and 2008. Additionally, she has 14 years of experience as a club director and coached the AZ High Performance program for three years.

Molly has coached with Spiral Volleyball Club since its inception in 2009.  All of her 16-1 teams have qualified for the USA Volleyball National Championships:
