Charlea Hillman

Charlea Hillman is in her second year as Freshman Head Coach at Chandler High School. She began her volleyball career in 2000 while attending Mountain Pointe High School in Phoenix, Arizona, where she was a part of the 2003 Central All-Region team and the 2004 State Runner-up team.
Charlea continued her volleyball career after receiving a scholarship to play for Pat Mooney at South Mountain Community College. As a Cougar, she played as an outside hitter and opposite. In addition to the time she devoted to volleyball, Charlea also focused on her studies; in 2009 she was named an Academic All-American.
In 2011, she was named as the Assistant Coach for the Arizona Region Select High Performance team which went on to win the bronze medal at the USA Volleyball High Performance Championships in Tucson.
Charlea has coached club volleyball for several clubs and is looking forward to being a part of the Spiral Volleyball Club Staff. Currently, she is attending Arizona State University where she is working to complete her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise and Wellness. In the future, she plans to attend Northern Arizona State University to further her education to become a physical therapist.
